Who We Are
Driving Toward a Cleaner California (DTCC) is a coalition of owners-operators, farmers, construction contractors and other business and community leaders committed to working with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to craft a sensible truck and bus replacement rule that both cleans the air and keeps California’s economy moving forward.
The regulations impact the more than 1.5 million trucks and buses used to transport goods and people on California’s roads, highways and farms. Given the millions of consumer and industrial goods and products delivered via truck each day in the State, these regulations could have a profound, negative impact on state’s economy.

DTCC Proposes Sensible Alternative to Air Resources Board Proposed Diesel Regulation
"IGNORED BY THE CARB BOARD - 12/12/08 "
DTCC has developed an alternative proposal to the California Air Resources Board (ARB) proposed on-road diesel regulation that allows for flexibility and early incentives, while also achieving significant emission reductions. DTCC will continue to work with the ARB to evaluate this proposed alternative and to develop a regulation that improves air quality while also taking seriously its potential impact on California’s current economic environment.

Want To Give CARB's Board Your Thoughts?
Here is how folks can send in (via e-mail) comments to the Board (supposedly these comments are distributed to the Board Members): arbboard@arb.ca.gov
If members/people want to make comments (also online) directly to the 'records' of the Board meeting, here is the link to that CARB site.
Submit A Comment To CARB
One of the most important steps you can take over the course of the next few months is to let CARB know why it is important for the health of the state’s trucking industry, its workers, overall economy and environment to modify these proposed regulations.
